July 2007
Jessie Lee Miller has just recorded her second album called "Waiting" that was to be released August 2007.
This past year her train has started chugging her career along to a rapidly progressing speed. Riding on the tracks
of her last album, "Now You're Gonna Be Loved", Jessie has begun to travel to her fans instead of just
performing in her home town of Austin, Texas.
In August she performed in Montreal Canada at the Red Hot and Blue Festival, then returned to her regular gigs in Austin.
September had her performing in a string of gigs across Europe, beginning in Belgium and ending in Switzerland.
Jessie's latest album has a new twist she's added by acting as her own Producer:
"I have never produced an album before, so I was a little nervous, but in the end I was glad I chose to do so.
It gave me complete creative control, and although I had some weak spots and hard lessons, I think all in all it
went very smoothly. And when I hear the songs, I know it is exactly the sound and translation I intended. We
recorded the last album in one day, and this one we recorded in two. In a perfect world, I'd spend a week, but
that'll be a future goal."
"I write a lot of my own music and it is important for me to be involved in the musical translation and
the life each song takes on. Music is my passion, and I treat it with respect, and handle it delicately when
constructing it. I am thankful for the musicians that played on this album and feel they gave a stellar
performance. I look forward to seeing where this album leads us. Now my hope is that my fans feel the love
I do for this album. It is straight from my heart to theirs.I look forward to sharing this next year with
all of you. Feel free to walk right up and say hello!"
